just get a book *NM* Yunalesca Send a noteboard - 31/01/2011 08:22:53 PM
I'm shopping for an e-reader for my upcoming birthday, but I just can't make up my mind.

The Kindle seems like a better piece of equipment overall - longer battery charge, slightly faster response, slightly smaller and lighter.

But, with the DRM issues, I'm really leaning towards a Nook. I like borrowing books from my local library, and it sounds like the Kindle format doesn't allow for that. Also, it looks like you can only get books from Amazon with the Kindle, while the Nook allows you to get books from just about anywhere, in any format.

Any advice?

If you won't strip DRM, for whatever odd reason, get a Nook. - 31/01/2011 08:35:26 PM 958 Views

Which is more irritating, bookshelves taking up space or running out of batteries while reading? - 02/02/2011 10:57:50 PM 1051 Views
