Has the software improved any? Ghavrel Send a noteboard - 01/02/2011 05:40:03 AM
My parents gave me a Nook for Christmas, and I'm using it instead of my PRS-505. The Sony software on the PC was really irritating to use; it reminded me of iTunes, but it was far less functional and a lot more irritating. No renaming filenames, or anything. Have they improved that recently, or does the Sony software still suck?

If you won't strip DRM, for whatever odd reason, get a Nook. - 31/01/2011 08:35:26 PM 734 Views
Books bought from Barnes and Noble do have DRM. - 01/02/2011 01:39:54 AM 1056 Views

And you don't need bookshelves with ereaders. - 01/02/2011 11:06:39 PM 737 Views
Which is more irritating, bookshelves taking up space or running out of batteries while reading? - 02/02/2011 10:57:50 PM 814 Views
