I think she got hung and then brought back from the dead to do Cat's bidding.

I think that's nonsense. Did Martin describe her look even as remotely off when she showed up? I don't have my book near me now. But it would be odd if there was no hint for this whatsoever. We also don't really need even more zombie characters. I think she was smart enough to escape the noose.

I didn't start out rooting for Stannis but ever since he showed up in the North I really have been rooting for him. He is a fair lord and the actual king of westeros through his brother. He isn't a pushover in a fight and he had enough balls to name Davos his Hand. Thats not to say he is likeable cause everyone knows he acts like his shit don't stink and has a stick up his ass. I would like to see him ally with Dany when she shows up. Of course I don't know how the hell she is gonna show up in time for anything when she is still half way across the world. I know I want him to outwit the Boltons and I think he has it in him to do it too. He's already smart enough to send out scouts from his snowbound army and get winterfell all wound up by blowing horns outside the walls.

Entirely agree on everything you said there.


OK here's what the book says on Briennes appearance.

pg 706 of the ebook version
"Jaime scrambled to his feet. "My lady. I had not thought to see you again so soon." Gods be good, she looks ten years older than when I saw her last. And what's happened to her face? "That bandage.... you've been wounded...""

Doesn't say where the bandage is but I would think around her neck to hide the scar.
