Is that because you get confused when you don't? Or is it because you don't want to read other books when you are into one?


Reading is something I generally do methodically. Focus on one task (or book) until it is completed. All though I didn't mention the cases above, there are occasions when a new book will come out and I'll stop reading one book in favor of the new book. An example of this will likely occur when the new WoT book is released. However, usually when I decide to read a book, it is the one off the shelf that is most appealling to me at the time. If my interest begins to decline, I tell me self that I have to finish it in order to start the next book. Rarely is a book so bad that I feel that I must just get away from it for a while (like in the case of The Redemption of Althalus).
