As for her comments, yes they are combative, but can one be racist when they don't have the full force of a social system behind prejudicial thoughts? That's been her point in several posts, when she's not lambasting someone for callous remarks by using heated rhetoric in return.
Yes, since there no longer is such a system in America: it's been illegal since before I was born.
