In terms of the book's quality, at least, despite being awful and tragic at the time of reading. And it has quite possibly irrevocably warped my understanding of what constitutes a tragedy, so there's that too. Erikson is at his best when things hopelessly tragic happen. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back to the series so I can wrap it up.
