Re: You show a clear demarkation of labour in some ways.

Books do not need to be straitjacketed. Or at least, at this point in my life, my books don't. They come to no harm by being with books that are not like them. You are Tor, for instance, are not "like" each other at all. You do not fit even my "same sized stuff in a pile" rule. But the bits of you that are alike are enough to get you through the bits of you that are freakishly different.
Books are like that. They don't need straitjackets. They don't need to be organised rigidly to know where they come from.

This is a very Benjaminian idea. I like it.
Also. Tor and I aren't alike? It never ocurred to me. Hmmm. Huh. You may be right.
There are certain things that he just does that you do not, so when we talk about doing things, you say, I Will Make Tor Do It. And there are certain things that you take the lead in doing, even if he is there and much more sensible than you.
Also, he is much taller, and has more hair. It's like you're from different planets.
It's not that you're not at all alike. It's just that, from the outside, there are some things that are very obviously different. You just don't notice because fitting together isn't about being in the same category.
It's very sweet.
Also, I am Benjaminian? I think I can dine out on a compliment like that for a week or two.
