Since 50 and a half seems to be quite a popular number this year, here are mine.

- Last year, I decided that I would practice Spanish by rereading some books that I'd read in other languages, and since I could get my hands on it, it turned out to be the Spanish translation of The Wheel of Time. Then I couldn't force myself to read more then the first couple of chapters of Crossroads of Twilight, and all my plans for practicing Spanish went more or less out the window.
Then I decided to reread The Witcher books by Sapkowski. (I read them in Czech)

Then I was finishing my thesis, and studying for the final and state exams, and I needed something lighter, so I picked up The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.

Having passed the exams, I wanted to read something at least a bit heavier, and I picked up The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe.

Then I read some history books by Miloš Hubá?ek, in Czech.
