The Player of Games – Iain M. Banks
The Sparrow – Mary Doria Russell

Read the Banks one last year, um I mean 2008. I had The Sparrow on deck for a while to read, but had to get it back to the library before it became over due. I plan to try it sometime this year. Hearing lots of good stuff about it.

Use of Weapons – Iain M. Banks

Read Use of Weapons in '08 as well, and it is my favorite of Banks' books so far.

The Eye in the Pyramid – Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson

That part of the "Illuminatus!" trilogy (I read it as one book)? Read that a couple years ago. Frakking fun and hilarious series!!!

A Canticle for Leibowitz – Walter M. Miller, Jr

Read this when I was young, and had thought about rereading it lately. Possible will this year if I have time.

(The Gone-Away World – Nick Harkaway)

Got this planned for this coming month or so.
Magician's Gambit – David Eddings
Contract Law in Scotland – Hector MacQueen and Joe Thomson
Summer Knight – Jim Butcher
Foucault's Pendulum – Umberto Eco
Castle of Wizardry – David Eddings

Hmm... haven't touched Eddings in ages. Always planned on reading Umberto Eco.

Looks like you had a nice year in reading!
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
