don't think I've even seen that one yet imlad Send a noteboard - 05/02/2010 11:46:29 PM
Guess I have to catch up! LOL.
I know I read "The Wood Boy" but not sure about "The Messenger." Can the 2nd one be found online to read, do you know?

If you have read as far as that then you have probably read everything.

He also wrote two short stories The Wood Boy and The Messenger both are set during the events of the Riftwar but don't deal with any of the existing characters.

Even those crappy LEgends of the Riftwar or whatever it was called books. The ones he co-wrote with other authors. Sheesh. I was warned not to read them back on the home site, hell one person flat out told me not to read them under any circumstance, not even for completeness sake.

In the main those books weren't even co-written by Feist. He basically allowed other authors to come in and write stories set in his world, then he would come in and polish them up a bit. This is how the Land's End issues arose. Originally the book was meant to be set in Sarth, but then Stirling reset it in Land's End. When Feist got the book it was too close to the publication date to do major changes.

I just can't help myself. In some ways I love Midkemia more than most other settings.

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
