I'd be interested in reading at least some of these, but I'm not going to spend the time I could spend studying on the books if I'm going to lose a bunch from reading the translations. And I think I don't have the time to learn Russian :P


And they translate well. Some historical background really helps, even if its just the wikipedia entries on 19th and 20th century Russian history. You will find lots of my comments talk about the social and cultural milieus in which the authors wrote in.
