It's hard to blame them- there's so much stuff to pack in- but it really seems like no one goes to class in any of the later movies, and every spell does exactly the same thing: Shoots a colored ball of light that knocks you back 50 feet.
Maybe going to class isn't good tv/movies? Even if it is magic class? And I saw the same spell over and over....full body bind, disarming, kill, pain, move something from here to there, fix this or that, take over someone's mind, and light up my wand.
Am I missing one?
