I suppose when you get down to it, the distinction between a person who is irredeemable and a person who refuses redemption is fairly slight.
My thought then is why are they irredeemable? Is it of their own choice? If yes, then that would qualify as the second category (refuses redemption). If no, they are irredeemable as influenced by an outside source/somthing not within their control then there is a difference.
