If nothing else you have to admit they did a nice little draft board dance to get both the receiver and QB they wanted in the first round. You may not like the choices but at least they didn't have to give up much to make them. Still I have to say don't down play the importance pure athleticism combined with a superior work ethic and drive. Any guy in his position who can stay a virgin at least has exceptional will power. I know I wouldn't have been able to do it even if for some bizarre reason I had wanted to.
I think the biggest criticism is I suspect they could have gotten him in the second round but for some reason they didn't think they could and they know more about that then I do. I still think he has great up side potential and at worst they lost their second pick which isn’t the end of the world. Hell he is big enough they could almost make him a linebacker
If he wins a Super Bowl or two do you think you would start liking him more?
