because I have concluded that it doesn't get any better. Chronic depression is like your shadow. Sometimes you notice it more than others but it's almost always there. I wish I could tell you it gets easier with time. But I can't. For me, it hasn't. In fact, it has gotten worse. My make me happy pills pretty much keep me from giving up. That's the extent of what they can do. I try to look for small spots of color in the ocean of gray that is my life. Why don't I kill myself? Because I wouldn't do that to my wife and kids. But if it happened on its own, I wouldn't fight it at all.


I just hope things get better for you.
