Honestly, I tend to agree with you. I mean, think about it, what exactly are we living for? Think of "life" as we know it; what is it exactly other than these fabricated entities we've created to promote the stations of certain key humans over others. We invented the concepts of religion, money, bartering, war, hierarchies, etc. What good are these things doing, exactly, aside making a large majority of the human population extremely unhappy, and/or giving other members the means and justification to continue doing what they are doing to their fellow human beings and to the environment. I find it mind boggling that we justify destroying the environment, utterly, for procedures that aren't necessary to survival or even necessary at all for enjoyment. I'm not saying I plan on committing suicide, but what I am saying is that it is hard for me to experience the enjoyment of our creature comforts that others feel are necessary. I look at money and see a necessary evil-- not because it in itself is necessary, but that in order to function in our society, I have to play along with the game. I, much like you, wish I could see and enjoy things...I honestly analyze everything superfluously.
