I don't know a whole lot about Gove, beyond him being a home flipper but Home over Education is a bit of a no brainer, I think.
It does seem unlikely they're not getting one, unless one of them is being seriously rearranged. though, frankly I would think it is a good move for the Lib Dems to have some distance next time they face voters (and I say that as a Lib Dem voter)
And that is if he under sells his past - given his time in the SBS he could probably just give them and unsettling smile to do the job

Which would make more sense. Gove is a big military geek and I suspect would have loved Defence, but Fox has had that sown up for a while. I get the impression he'd prefer Home to Education as well.

, that does leave the LibDems in arguably secondary roles with the traditional Big Three roles (Home, Foreign, Chancellor) all in Tory hands. Given the scope of the coalition I'd have expected at least one of them to go to a LibDem.
