but this isn't Pakistan. We are nation that is majority Christan but we are not a Christan nation.


The hypocrisy is absurd. Nothing is done or said when Christians get murdered in majority Muslim countries, articles written, and even the news shoves the story to page 45.

Yet when a kid wears a mildly offensive t-shirt it's national news and condemned nation wide.

Absurd and embarrassing.


I think the relevant bit would be "When a kid wears an offensive shirt in the U.S."

While I'm in no way commending muslim nations for their treatment of christians in their country, saying "they do it to us in their country so why shouldn't we do it to them in ours" is hardly a mature perspective. Nor is it one that refers any praise on your nation. I believe that most americans would rather say, "we're better than that. we'll prove that we can be more tolerant."

Of course, I'm Canadian. So I may be completely wrong. But that's how I would feel were it my nation.



I'm simply saying that t-shirts criticizing Islam should be allowed everywhere, especially when there is much to criticize.

Were I really taking an eye for an eye attitude as you suggest, I would be advocating beheading Muslims left right and center.
