I am interested in different countries. I am interested in what is happening in Saudi Arabia and I am interested in what happens in the US. Neither influences how things should be done in the UK.


Nor do your opinions have any bearing on what happens in the US. Your opinion is just that: an opinion. High handed, but an opinion nevertheless. You can have yours and he can have his without it being "logically stupid".

But this is completely wrong. Dragonsoul isn't wrong on his points, but the simple fact is that the tolerance (or lack thereof) shown in other countries has ZERO to do with the school system of the United States. His reply makes no sense in the context of the discussion, other than that he wanted to say it. Not an overly bright beginning to an argument, I'm sorry to say.


Because I base my views, as many people do, on how my people are treated world wide. So, for example, if Christians are being murdered in Islamic countries, then criticizing Islam at home on a t-shirt is a legitimate response. If Muslims here don't like it, well maybe they should lobby their own people harder to stop killing Christians.

I respect your right to your stance, but I do not believe it is remotely relevant here. I see no reason to allow my fellow countrymen to use their children in school to insult or offend each other because some Muslims are mistreating Christians somewhere else. They are being used as tools for someone else's agenda, and risk disrupting the educational process.
