Well, if they don't want to tell me who they are, they don't get transferred. I learned that on day one. It doesn't matter how sensitive the manner of the call. I screen calls for both our Chair and Executive Admin, as well as anyone whom might call the wrong number.

I was a little surprised you have to ask in the first place, but with the rest of the replies coming in now, it seems to be US standards not to introduce yourself to the company/person you called first? How is that for etiquette? :confused:
