USB 3.0 is definitely not important right now, but it probably will be in the future. That said don't worry about it for you don't need it right now, it is an easy upgrade (just like the video card, buy the card, remove the side panel, two screws later and a cd later you are in business. Buying a USB 3.0 card cost about 30 dollars right now at current prices. The only reason I am recommending it I know it is just nice to have it already installed and ready to go especially since you are keeping the computer for 5 to 7 years.
