Note that Wikipedia says there's debate about whether a fourth Great Awakening occurred, but I'd argue there was one, beginning with MLK and later subverted by ravening wolves. In fact, I was just reading yesterday that the founder of the seminary that produced most of the Moral Majority leaders was in the pulpit passionately preaching in the '50s.
