I seem to recall him saying once he was about 12 when he joined, though I also seem to recall him saying he was there for eight years, and the math doesn't check on that, but memories aren't perfect. I kinda doubt his parents would handcuff with parental controls, for that matter--but they could've, and many other parents do. You may recall a young lady who's headed to college but still has to be careful what her parents see on her Facebook pages. Once again, a language filter inhibits no one, but its absence excludes many. Frankly, it seems stupid to insist on something from which you derive no benefit when you know it's causing harm. I'll reflect on that further after another cigarette....
