Specifically, the reference to the "armistice" that "ended" the Korean "War".

From wikipedia:

An armistice is a situation in a war where the warring parties agree to stop fighting. It is not necessarily the end of a war, but may be just a cessation of hostilities while an attempt is made to negotiate a lasting peace. It is derived from the Latin arma, meaning weapons and statium, meaning a stopping.

In other words, armistice means cease fire.

No attempt is being made at negotiating a lasting peace, and even cessations of hostilities have (clearly) been only temporary. They (and we) didn't agree to stop fighting so much as to pause it. That's why the DMZ is there.
