I don't live in New York and I don't know the politics there but, geez, five times to finally get it passed? That seems off somehow. It seems like they just kept ramming it through until it finally passed. Is that really how people want to pass laws? Maybe I'm wrong but how is that different than the groups who try to ram anti-abortion laws over and over until something finally gets through?
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
