Helicopter fly overs close enough that swimmers could easily be seen also easily fit the entire island in frame; I think (hope) we can agree that maintaining a separate police force for it would be a waste of taxpayer money (not to mention the fact that the island is privately owned, having been donated to the labor party decades ago by its previous union owners) and require permanent residents that don't seem to exist. The comparison was the distance and consequent travel time, not the size of the respective locations themselves. The protocol on that's not going to change, and any attempt to do so would be absurd. If you're having difficulty understanding the circumstances my suggestion is that you educate yourself on them, preferably before rather than after making sweeping declarations about them.
