Edit: Police are now saying that 7 died in the explosion and that 84 died in the shootings at the youth conference. The attacker is being described as a fundamentalist Christian. The link below has been updated.
There has been a large explosion in Oslo. The explosion occurred near Government buildings. So far there are no reported casualties but there are several people reported injured.
It has not been confirmed that this is an attack, but the media are certainly leaning that way.
Hopefully none of our community members in Norway were not caught up in this.
Edit: There is now one confirmed death and as Wibble says below, police are know saying that it was a bomb
