Your burglary rate is double ours per capita, your car theft rate is nearly double ours. People in your country don't seem to respect the concept of private property.

Our murder rate is higher because more people are successful at it, as they have guns. However, your statistics, truth be told, also don't count attempted murder, as ours do.

On the other hand, crime is steadily going down in the US, but up in the UK. Maybe all those jails and executions actually do have a positive effect after all.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
