screw all the big banks random thoughts Send a noteboard - 30/09/2011 07:19:36 PM
We are with Capital One but I am planning to switch to small local credit union. I would am tired of the bank trying to fleece me with fees. My son had a charge pending on his account so when he checked his balance it said he had money but when he used the card the charged him $35 a transaction. Ended up costing him over $300 to spend less than $30. Now it is his fault he let his account go negative but that should not mean it is open season from the bank to rape him.

I was relatively happy with Wells Fargo when I used them... - 30/09/2011 08:18:34 PM 347 Views
Agreed, but read the fine print when you switch. - 30/09/2011 08:21:31 PM 499 Views

I love my credit union, so drama free. I would never switch to a bank. *NM* - 01/10/2011 03:04:39 AM 199 Views

Maintaining a modest sum of money in checking/savings/CDs obviates this charge and most others - 01/10/2011 02:02:51 AM 443 Views
Hm? - 01/10/2011 02:12:41 AM 383 Views
Right. It's not an issue if the combined total meets BoAs requirement. - 01/10/2011 02:33:15 AM 555 Views
