Not all, certainly; your criticisms are valid in many cases, just as there are plenty of Tea Partiers out there stockpiling guns to take on the commie gub'ment when it does abusive things like expect them to pay their taxes (though I think it is pretty clear which is more dangerous to the nation and public safety.) In most cases, however, that is another of the similarities between the bulk of the Tea Party and OWS: Part of taking responsibility for oneself is "ignor[ing] the ill begotten orders coming down from your organizers" and THEIR corporate-masters to vote, tenement and toil whereever those masters permit they live in squalor. Hence Adams mindlessly kneejerk epigram that "a man chooses and a slave obeys" IS so utterly mindless: A bunch of people gathering together to shout their refusal to conform and obey, to demand systemic change in the status quo, are not obedient slaves: Their refusal to be obedient slaves is the crux of the matter. Accusing them of the meek obedience they refuse while insisting they return to it is frankly bizarre.
