I have a hard time believing there's nothing. I don't believe that any existing religion has it "right", but millions of people have all believed, in different ways, in "more" and there are a lot of events that are presently inexplicable. Maybe some day we'll find a scientific explanation, but until then I'm willing to entertain thought on other explanations. I see no reason why there can't be energies/beings that are beyond our perception or direct detection.

And, to be frank, I think declaring that there isn't is just as much a leap of faith as claiming to be adherent to any particular faith. It's certainly not the "scientific" attitude to take, unlike what many people claim.
