on the one hand, they don't want themselves filmed in public because they think they're entitled to privacy when they are doing their job ...IN PUBLIC.

but yet they are willing to place a GPS tracker on your car without a warrant because they think your personal driveway is a public place and therefore fair game thank goodness the supreme court knocked that one back down, maybe they can get around to the filming issue this year too...

I remembered hearing about it (and the article does reference it,) but not a final SCOTUS verdict. These days I just take it for granted that the SCOTUS will side with the government in all cases unless they were brought by a member of the GOP. Thank God for small blessings, I suppose.
