Which is quite a big compliment coming from someone who doesn't like small dogs. :P

I thought I didn't :P, but then I realized how much I always loved my mom's old schnauzie. He was hysterical, and had a big dog personality. I llllllooove our GSDs (and kinda want another of those too), but I definitely want another schnauzer.

Understandable. It's one of the reasons why I like them (apart from growing up with Labradors and German Shepherds). They also encourage me to get a bit more exercise, and they're great for children.

Both true. This kind of thing always depends on the type of life you're prepping for. I'm expecting to work my ass off at my job (what I'm used to), and then coming home to a leisurely dog walk. Luckily, we have a park close to the house - I can play fetch for hours. :P
