Which part of Romneys socialism was your favorite? Joel Send a noteboard - 04/10/2012 03:38:17 PM
Rejecting upper class tax cuts? Spending $700 billion more on Medicare? More federal money for teachers? Regulations for Wall Street? For me, it was either his endorsement of universal federal Medicare that preserves peoples freedom to buy private insurance at a premium (though anyone who can afford the latter does not need a federal subsidy) or noting that the Declaration affirming the right to "pursuit of happiness" created a federal duty to help the poor.

You are very lucky 1) Obama was INCREDIBLY flat and hesitant and 2) the vast majority will never do its homework well enough to know how full of crap Romney was. We both know he did a complete 180° on the campaign he has run all year, since 2008, in fact. Had Obama said all the same things you would excoriate him as the second coming of Marx, yet you cheer it from Romney because you know he must publicly support the welfare state to win but could and would dismiss and shred it once elected.

I consider the margin of error implied. - 04/10/2012 05:49:50 PM 575 Views
Unfortunately statistics does not support that. - 04/10/2012 06:11:56 PM 689 Views
Of course they do; the law of averages supports that. - 04/10/2012 06:46:27 PM 720 Views
Poll numbers aren't random so even if the law of averages could be applied to a small data set... - 04/10/2012 07:05:49 PM 597 Views
that is why you can't base things on just one poll - 05/10/2012 01:27:18 AM 774 Views
