I don't know why I thought otherwise. My grandmother raised chickens for years so I assume she would have known. I know we alsways called brown eggs farm eggs so may that had something to do with it. I know the eggs at Granny's house always taseted better but then again so did most everthing else. 
The vegetarian chicken feed is silly but not as silly as the vegetarian dog food. That is just plain wrong.
