View original post Made with lightly toasted homemade bread, local uncured bacon, with lettuce and tomato from my garden. I only regret not making the mayo from scratch. Fresh Corn on the cob on the side. Sometimes the simple things can be so divine.

That all sounds so perfect. We had that exact meal so often during the summers when I was growing up.
