My party left me when that senile actor got canonized after record spending and appointing O'Conner Cannoli Send a noteboard - 27/09/2015 04:31:58 AM

Much like gay marriage abortion is not a republican issue nor is it a conservative issue, it is a Christian Fundamentalist issue. While the majority of Christian Fundamentalist are republican not all republicans are Christian Fundamentalist. I joined political party and not theology party. As believer in the Constitution one of my biggest problems with my party is that so many members think imposing their religious view is a "conservative ideal".

I was a young republican in high school who campaigned for Roland Regan and if staying in the republican party now means I have to follow an empty suite hate monger like Trump then like Regan did I will have to conclude that I did not leave my party it left me.

I just can't believe that a self-described Constitutionalist is only pushed to the breaking point by an openly empty suit, as opposed to Bush & Reagan dividing the Tax and Spend aspects between their respective administrations, Bob Dole, John McCain, and the guy who took a giant crap on the Constitution with the PATRIOT act, and appointed John Roberts.
