I love food. So I'm going to make a survey about food.

What if your favorite type of food to eat? Not talking cuisine or specific dish here, but what general flavor/texture profile just makes you drool all over the table?
Meat

What is your favorite cheese? Anyone who says "American" will be put out of their misery.
Swiss

Do you eat any foods that are highly atypical of your region/culture? If so, give some examples.
I don't think anything is really atypical... there's some good diversity here.

Do you ever eat something just because you have no idea what it is but totally want to find out? I'm not referring to food on the floor.
Yes, I'll try almost anything.

What is your favorite cut/form/type of meat? Vegetarians, you can put your favorite protein source
Pretty much anything... I'd be perfectly fine with any large chunks of meat, such as they might feed to lions at a zoo. I don't mind if it's cooked though.

What is your favorite vegetable? Fruit?
Potato and kiwi, respectively

Are you a chocolate person?
Sure

Beer, wine, or the hard stuff?
yes

Favorite international cuisine?
This is a tough one, as I like so many different things. I'll go with Thai for now though.

Are there any foods you're a total picky elitist about?
There are some things that I have never been able to like no matter how they're prepared, like eggplant.

What is your guilty "omigod this is so bad for me" pleasure?

Do you, in fact, truly love food?
No. I like it, I enjoy it, and to some extent I need it, but true love implies a deeper connection that just isn't there.
