He seems to think Coakley will probably win but it's so close he doesn't want to say it given how good his record is when he does make predictions.

Realized a bit late there was more than one way that could be read. I also didn't know until today this was a special election because MA Dems have changed their Senate vacancy laws twice in six years to prevent the very thing those changes now threaten: A Republican Senator from MA. If they're going to change the law back and forth when they please just to lock the Republicans out of the race I'm not sure they deserve to retain the seat. And all sucking up to Lieberman for six months did was delay the Senate bill long enough to put things right back where they were: One vote short of 60. Only difference is that, except for exchanges, everything that made the bill appealing to ANYONE but an insurance company got stripped in the process. I might understand increasing taxes and debt to a bankrupt industry, but private insurance doesn't exactly fit that definition.
