1. Atkins Diet (minimal carbs, no starch, high meat protein)

May as well call this one the Meatatarian diet! xx(

2. Vegetarian (mostly fruits/vegetables, sometimes dairy and eggs)

I don't think any diet has the absolute key to good nutrition. I'm a vegetarian with weight issues. I'm also quite anemic. I haven't eaten meat, fish or poultry for...(egads, I'm old!)...23 years. So obviously, I don't eat "right" even though I don't eat meat.

I must say this, though. Even though I'm overweight, my arteries are not clogging up like they probably would be if I ate meat. I know this because I had to have a cardiac catheterization done a couple of years ago because the doctor found my heart was enlarged and only pumping at 30% capacity. He said the enlarged heart was probably caused by either blockages or an infection in my heart.

I think mine was one of the quickest cardiac catheterization ever. He said he didn't even see the beginning on any buildup in my arteries. He credited my being a vegetarian as a major factor.

3. Vegan (absolutely no animal products)

I tried this briefly...I love cheese too much!

4. Mediterranean Diet (high plant consumption, fruit desserts, olive oil for fat, cheese and yogurt, white meat, eggs, low red meat, wine)

I just can't bring myself to eat meat!

5. Paleolithic Diet (no potatoes, grains, dairy or beans, encouraged lean meat consumption, most plants, mostly water/tea as beverage)

ewwwwwwwwww

6. Raw Food Diet (mostly like Paleolithic diet, but NO COOKING ALLOWED)

mega ewwwwwwwwwwww

Remember I was always true...Remember that I always tried
Remember I loved only you...Remember me and smile...
For it's better to forget
Than to remember me
And cry
