Your argument assumes in the existance of the Christian God.

Anyone who does not believe in God as Christians do will find your argument moot.
There is no proof for your god. Beyond individual experience, there is nothing that amounts to proof, and individual experience is hardly the paragon of fact.
I'm not trying to make you disbelieve or tell you you're "wrong" (hell, maybe you're totally right and everyone else is f*d), but there are perfectly logical reasons for people to not believe in your god.
Side note: it's hardly a universal belief that "God loves you", at least in the way you present it. Not to mention it's hardly consistent with his supposed treatment of humanity. Additionally (using your example of homosexuality), there is a great deal of debate as to what God demands of his followers (besides believing in him, of course). I really need to start obsessively bookmarking every article I find so I can actually source for y'all, but I read a very interested break down of what the bible says in respect to homosexuality. The result was something along the lines of "the bible doesn't say jack diddly about it, beyond you should love people despite their differences from you" or something to that extent. I'm really sorry I don't have the article; I'm sure you'd at least find it interesting to read.
