eight BUSINESSES in france have chosen to change their menu to appeal to the Muslim minority. It's not like the government of france is doing anything, or like it's becoming some widespread plague that is strong arming the french people. Or are you against vegetarian restaurants as well? Perhaps we should outlaw all those barbecue places that don't have a single purely vegetarian dish on their menus?

Furthermore, it's not like halal is some...trend or fashion. It's a religious aspect of Islam. One that does no harm to others, I might add (except apparently bully those damned restaurants!! *sarcasm*). Yes, not all Muslims follow halal, but I don't see you ranting on about Kosher foods in the US. There's this thing called "Freedom of religion". I'm not sure if it's explicitly stated in French law, but I'm pretty sure it's at least implicated.
