My current job, while often quite rewarding and well staffed with great people who I like to work with - has both a long commute and sometimes needs long hours.
When I get home my daughter often REQUIRES that I spend time with her and that can take up much of the evening.
Add to that work on hobby stuff, trying to get in a workout a couple times a week with a buddy, the fact that we now have FOUR conventions a year to run instead of three (now in two different countries as well as four different cities) and there isn't time for anything like as much online as I used to do. Oh, and I actually like to spend time with my wife on those rare occasions we can manage it.
My daughter is most of the reason though. She can be very much a daddy's girl and she cutes me into spending time with her very very easily. Tantrums get her nowhere but a time-out but 'Daddy hug? Daddy puzzle? Daddy Obliv-ee-on?' Work quite a lot.

May God stand between you and harm in all the empty places you must walk.

You cannot be serious. Might I ask you to write an actual reply? I'd like to hear your thoughts. *NM*

I really don't see how you can read that tone into it, because it just isn't there.

You know, you really need to stop that habit of replying to every single paragraph.

Okay, I get that you're strongly libertarian and want far smaller government.
