Even though insurance profits make up only a tiny fraction of medical cost? Do you have any reason to believe that taking a huge percentage of the profits out of pharmaceuticals won't affect the development of new pharmaceuticals?


I suspect that if we did actually force pharmaceutical companies to charge the same price here as they do in other places they would stop offering some drugs here because we also refuse to reform our out of control tort system.
