Sorry but immigration really isn't a left right issue. When Bush tried to pass immigration reform there opposition and support from both sides of the isle. Hate speech and other such thought police rules though tend to be issues that are left right issue so I don’t find it surprising that a far left liberal thinks certain words should be banned. Just like I am not surprised that he only suggested things that would help the left. Can’t win the argument try and handicap it.

Far left is inaccurate. Had you said "Far left of me," it would have been true.

You know, every now and again I am tempted to think of you as a person I disagree with but could respect. And then you make a reply like this, choosing to ignore:

A: The humorous intent of the post.
B: The part where I owned my leftist leanings and invited folks from the right to add the words they would get rid of for the interest of good conversation.

You do all of this in interests of making broad, sweeping statements about the "liberal" mindset. So you know what? Why even bother? You aren't interested in the conversation. You can't stop fighting the battles. You can't see how the sound-byte formula has decimated political coverage in the media, and even if you did recognize the problem, all you would do is write it off as being another example of the supposedly "liberal" media.

You don't know how to play nice in a political discussion. So maybe political discussion really isn't for you.
