But in all honesty, I'm not going to debate the virtues of corporal punishment vs other methods of punishing children. In no way does a quick swat on a misbehaving child's bottom and a grown man walking up to a toddler and slapping them across the face repeatedly equal each other.


If any one lays a hand on my son like this it is assault in my eyes... I would defend him, and I would of course call the police. Seriously, if anyone touched my child, I think I would snap, I don't know what I would do...

He must be insane! I can't see that normal people would justify hitting children for any reasons.
