and acknowledges the fact that something terrible happened, the only people who aren't it seems are the Turks themselves, and yes their behavior towards the current Armenian population is reprehensible, but eventually someone is going to have to let the resentment go. Or the cycle of hatred is going to continue unabated. All forcing Turkey to acknowledge the genocide does is dredge up old sins, and as we've seen bring old hatreds to the surface.

I'm not saying we shouldn't remember the dead, but laying blame at this point in the game accomplishes nothing.
