No reason that makes any kind of sense.

Everyone has reasons for things that they do. They may be good reasons, they may not (and they may think they are good reasons when no one else sees them that way).

By 'no reason' I meant no reason that anyone rational would understand. Leaving wasn't a great thing, but I understand that maybe she felt she had to. Leaving is like that - very commonly one person isn't too keen on it.

Lying about it and doing it deceitfully - while I'm sure Amy felt she had a reason I don't think anyone rational would be able to judge it a valid one.

That's kind of what I meant.

I'm not making an issue of that at the moment - but eventually, at some point if things do work out, I'm going to expect a certain amount of contrition on that front. Without that, how can I ever trust her again?
