Most of what the Muslims "invented" were just simple rediscoveries they made from the Library in Alexandria, rediscoveries that were initially made by the Greeks and Romans. Without the Islamic invasions into Europe, the burning of Churches and Monasteries, that stuff would never have been lost in the first place.

Do you believe that because you have seriously investigated the matter and read enough scientific sources to base a judgement on, or do you believe it because you want to believe it? And then draw your conclusions. Which you don't have to share here or anything - I'm not so naive as to think this post would make you openly change your views.
