If I buy a time card and put in fake personal information for my account, I see no way for them to verify it. Also, can't you transfer characters between accounts for a fee? Seems to me like even those players who already have their account details entered could start a new account with a time card, and transfer over their character.

Obviously I don't think this kind of workaround should be required, but still, I wonder if this would be an option?


Your account would need to have the same last name as the previous account in order to transfer characters, wouldn't it? So you'd have to use a fake first name and your real last name, and then spend the money to transfer any characters over. Unless it's free to do so, but Blizzard doesn't do very many things for free ...
